Student’s Checklist

There are certain things that could not be ignored while travelling to Germany for education purpose. We have gathered a list of important things which you should carry with yourself

Before Departure:

●   Admission and visa documents
●   Health & Travel Insurance is another important document which you can’t miss.
●   Your travel ticket as you couldn’t reach Germany without it.
●   Book your accommodation in advance through GHEC or on your own to avoid last moment and high cost housing.
●   Valid passport for the duration of your education
●   Keep Euro in your wallet to make small payments
●   Get an international credit card
●   Try to know about some main destinations of Germany and local area of your university.

On Arrival:

As you arrive to Germany, don’t forget to apply for residence permit as it will allow you to stay in Germany to pursue your higher education.

●   Get a student card from your university or college and avail the student benefits.
●   Get familiarized with the local transport in Germany
●   Set your mobile with German phone number
